1. What is sitting on the edges of your work table? piles of freshly packaged thermofax screens, painted samples just photographed for a blog post, buckets of paintbrushes

If someone looked beneath the surface, what could be revealed that we
might not know about you? I’m actually an introvert who suffered
horrible panic attacks in my early 20’s because of shyness, but after
confronting my paralyzing fears of large groups and crowds, I gained
confidence and learned how to enjoy being more of an extrovert.

What occupies the space between your sewing machine and your cutting
table? my sewing machines sits in the corner of my 4' x 8’ work table
that's also my cutting table, so it's covered with an ever changing
variety of supplies and projects.

What is the most exquisite moment in your artistic life? showing my
clay dragon to Liberace when I was 16, LOL! Seriously, I don’t know,
that’s a tough one to answer since there's
been many exquisite moments, but I really did show my dragon to
Liberace when he stayed at the small bed and breakfast I was working at
in Bodega Bay in high school.
5. Do you have daily rituals in your studio? no

Reflecting on the quilts that you have made, which one stands out to
you? Right now Polychromatic Predilection from last years exhibit.
7. What do you have an affinity for in your work? painting

What kinds of patterns do you use in your work to create interest and
texture? I love creating patten with stamps that I make.
9. What personal iconography is identifiable to you exclusively in your work? graphic painted imagery
10.
What was your inspiration for the Best of Dinner at Eight? A small
painting (on canvas) of a squid that I painted earlier in the year based
on an old scientific diagram.
